How to allocate more ram to the launcher?

Premium launcher - Old UI:
  1. Open Minecraft launcher
  2. Click on Edit profile
  3. Enable JVM Arguments:
  4. Replace -Xmx1G with amount of ram you want to allocate to Minecraft
  5. (1G = 1GB of ram / 2G = 2GB of RAM) and so on...
  6. After you're done hit Save profile and you're done.

Premium launcher - New UI:
  1. Open Minecraft launcher
  2. Click on Launcher options
  3. Enable Advanced settings
  4. Click on version you want to modify/allocate more ram to it
  5. Enable JVM Arguments
  6. Replace -Xmx1G with amount of ram you want to allocate to Minecraft
  7. (1G = 1GB of ram / 2G = 2GB of RAM) and so on...
  8. After you're done hit Save profile and you're done.

Tlauncher launcher:
  1. Open Tlauncher
  2. Click on Preferences button (Button next to refesh with "Menu" icon)
  3. Select Preferences
  4. As settings appear go under Memory allocation and type/move slider to allocate more ram
  5. Click on Save button and you're done.

Technic launcher:
  1. Open technic launcher
  2. Click on Launcher Options
  3. Click on Java settings tab
  4. Under Memory select amount of ram you want to allocate to Technic launcher
  5. Close settings window and you're done.

Feed The Beast launcher:
  1. Open Feed The Beast launcher
  2. Click on tab Options
  3. Under RAM Maximum (MB) select amout of ram you want to allocate to Feed The Beast Launcher
  4. Go back to FTB Modpacks and you're done.

ATLauncher:
  1. Open ATLauncher
  2. Click on tab Settings
  3. As settings appear select tab Java/Minecraft
  4. Under Maximum Memory/Ram select amout of ram you want to allocate to ATLauncher
  5. Click Save and you're done.
